The curriculum includes instrumental technique, graded repertoire, music theory and history, ear and rhythm training, sight-reading, ensemble playing and various performance and enrichment opportunities.
- PIANO: we welcome beginners and intermediate students aged 6 and up, including adults. Our lessons are taught in the Traditional European Method (students learn note-reading, rhythm patterns, etc.) on our top-of-the-line Yamaha Digital Piano featuring Graded Hammer Action for realistic touch and sound, and a full set of pedals, in addition to other high-end functions.
- We use PIANO methods and materials by Bastien, Alfred, J. Thompson, Schaum ("Finger Power"), R. Pace, Palmer, Hal Leonard, Kjos, "Piano Adventures" & "Play Time Piano" (Faber), "A Dozen A Day" (Edna-Mae Burnam), and by celebrated piano composer-pedagogues such as Czerny, Hanon, Duvernoy, Burgmüller, Streabbog, Clementi, Diabelli, and Kuhlau.
