Our Students

We provide private lessons to dozens of students learning violin, viola, cello, and piano.

We accept and retain serious students who show consistent interest and pursue the meaningful rewards that come from meeting personal challenges. 
Our students are expected to demonstrate a commitment to self-improvement through a general attitude of perseverance, consistency and accomplishments.

Our students come from the Elementary, Secondary, and High Schools of Districts 64 and 207 (Park Ridge and Niles), as well as from these other area schools:

• Edison Park, Norridge, Norwood Park, Oriole Park schools (Chicago)
• St. Juliana Catholic School (Chicago)
• St. Andrews Lutheran School (Park Ridge)
• St. Paul of the Cross Catholic School (Park Ridge)

Students also come from the surrounding suburbs of Des Plaines, Morton Grove, Mt. Prospect, Elk Grove, Niles, etc.

STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
While we attempt to enhance every student’s life experience through music making, we are not trained, certified or licensed in special education or music therapy, therefore teaching students with special needs (developmental, cognitive/motor, behavioral, and/or emotional) is outside of the scope of Park Ridge Strings' programs.
